Covering Flux for Recycled/Secondary Aluminum

DS Liquid’s aluminum flux is a metallurgical auxiliary material (additives) designed for the melting and refining of recycled aluminum and secondary aluminum.

It supports stable aluminum processing by reducing oxidation, removing dross, and improving metal recovery during melting operations

Covering Flux by DS Liquid is a surface-protection flux developed for secondary (recycled) aluminum and non-ferrous metal melting processes, specifically designed to protect the molten metal surface.

When applied during the melting or holding stage, the covering flux forms a protective covering x-layer on the molten surface, preventing direct contact with air, thereby suppressing oxidation and reducing heat loss.
This helps minimize unnecessary oxide formation and dross generation on the molten surface.

It is a preventive covering flux designed to reduce dross formation itself by stabilizing the molten surface and suppressing oxidation, ultimately improving metal recovery efficiency and minimizing aluminum loss.

The product is suitable for recycled aluminum melting operations and can be applied across various aluminum processes including die casting, rolling, and extrusion, particularly during molten metal holding, waiting, and pre-transfer stages.
